I'm currently taking all JavaScript requests that do not rival PBvG1. All scripts will be IE specific and posted in the Code Index after made. Ask now, before I change my mind. I'll change any little detail of your message board.

hmm, well i do have a question for something, just for the heck of it. are there any Rpg things that people could make that dont have the access your profile so that you can actually use it now that they have the new password thing

Ya... that's the one limit that I know of. I can't make an RPG script. Nor would I want to. Browsers can be configured to only load certain parts of scripts. Which can allow cheating with things like RPGs.

now wait, i think if we can add a rpg system when PB4 comes out if it isnt already out then we could get more members, because some people really like rpg systems
but we really should be discussing this is staff area

I already told ya, I can't do RPG. It's too complicated. There's PHP in there somewhere.
ANYWAY - requests...

You're takin code requests? GREAT! Can you tell me (I know Taz™ knows I hope you do too) How, when you highlight a menu icon, it changes into another picture, like this site's do. EDIT: AND CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE TO FIND THE FONT THAT IS USED IN THE MENU ICONS, TAZ'S SIGS AND... I THINK THATS ALL WHERE THEY ARE USED. thankyou

Variables are reset in JavaScript everytime a page is reloaded. If I did a script like that I couldn't save. I could alter mini-profile settings, but as I said, someone can disable JavaScript and change their RPG profile. I haven't tested hidden, JS-written input fields to see if ProBoards writes them to the database. If it does, I *might* be able to make some sort of system. Yes. But, do your mean the whole TD; the TD and the "Currently Taking Requests" part; or the TD, "Currently Taking Requests, and Previous Topic | Next Topic? Not in a rude way, but I doubt it. I'll pay you $1 million if you finish by yourself and it works. Do you mean on ANY site or on ProBoards? If it's your own personal site where you can modify HTML: <img alt=" NAME OF YOUR IMAGE" onmouseout="this.src = omo;" onmouseover="var omo = this.src; this.src = ' URL OF IMAGE HIGHLIGHTED';" src=" ORIGINAL SOURCE" /> Be careful not to erase any apostraphes (') or quotes ("). If it's a ProBoards script, talk to me on IM. I need to give you specifics on how to name your icons to make the script less than half the size of the one used on this site. Or, if you want a really long script like Taz uses (-_-), then tell me. I'll type on up real fast.

On a proboards site. I've got all the pictures. But can anyone answer my question about the font on the menu icons. NO ONE WILL ANSWER IT THEY JUST IGNORE IT!!!

function omo(ou, nu) { ig = document.getElementsByTagName('img'); for (i=0; i<ig.length; i++) { if (ig[i].src == ou) { ig[i].onmouseout = function anonymous() { this.src = ou; } ig[i].onmouseover = function anonymous() { this.src = nu; } } } }
omo("URL of the Image", "URL of the Image onMouseOver"); omo("URL of the Image", "URL of the Image onMouseOver"); omo("URL of the Image", "URL of the Image onMouseOver");
--> </script> I just did it the long way. You can add as many of those omo() functions at the bottom as you want for as many image onMouseOver functions as you want. IE only.

No offence man, you're an awesome coder, but why do you only make IE only codes? Nightwalker dude: The font I used on the menu icons is called Bitdust two and you can get it here www.dafont.com/search.php?nq=1&q=bitdust+two

Because I learned IE Only. I don't know what Firefox loads or why it doesn't load what I make. I didn't get it until just recently.

I hate to rub it in your face, but that is simple JavaScript. Nobody deserves credit and I did make it myself. Oh God, what's that? It is possible for more than one person in the world to make the same script? Even more likely when a script is that basic, you say? Wow. If I'm just a "ripper," how about your look at the credits for who made this template, fool. I would not need to steal such a elementary script. Hey! Look at this: <script type="text/javascript"> <!--
document.getElementsByTagName('font')[0].style.display = "none";
--> </script> And: <script language="JavaScript"> <!--
document.getElementsByTagName('font')[0].style.display = "none";
--> </script> What's the difference, besides one being proper? Just the "language" and "type" attribute. I guess one of them must be stolen! Oh my God!Or! Since the script is so basic, you cannot put a copyright on it. If Nadim did so, it's his fault when nobody owes him anything when everyone uses his script. He did not invent functions. A basic script such as this owes no copyright. As someone I know would say in my shoes... "You lose." Stop acting a fool.

I'd like to see you code a place that looks half as good as this -_- The whole TD....I guess....if thats the part that has the "Pages: 1,2" and the "Reply Notify Send Topic. Print" buttons.....not the "Currently Taking Requests" part of the "Previous Topic | Next Topic" things And speaking of the "Previous Topic | Next Topic" thing......How long would it take to make a code to remove that? If you could anyway.....unless there's already one out there that you know of....

I don't know the problem. The forum headers/footers aren't saving. I'll have to get KoD to do it. (I got backups if he needs them) My connection is too weak to send the whole $_POST or something. Oh well...
Anyway, does that script remove the Reply from the bottom, also? Is that what you want? You could post using "Quote..." And I'd also think it would remove the New Thread option... I dunno... I haven't tested it fully.

Here is what it does oldspice.proboards21.com/index.cgi?board=generalAnd no it's not exactally what I wanted....=/ I was wanting the code to remove all the space from that bar....kinda like that code I put in on here to remove the space from the Menu grad so the Menu Buttons will look right for the rollover function...
