I once met a fellow who didn't believe in political correctness. Not in the sense that he just didn't believe in using it, but in the sense that he thought it was such a joke that he believed comedians made it up just to be funny. No. This is something that the government backs. This is something that everyone one of those God-dang douchebags out there thinks we should say instead so no pansy "challenged person" gets his or her feelings hurt. Some baby thinks it's incorrect for us to call him "black"? Well, guess what! He is black. I'll call him African American, when he calls me European American, the racist S.O.B. How do we know he's African, anyway? Do black people only come from Africa? I guess all other five hundred countries in the world only have white and tan people? Here's an article that explains it best. No - we're not allowed to say one thing. We have to say something that means the exact same thing. We have to word it differently so the idiots don't think people are making fun of them. Can't say "mentally retarded," gotta say "mentally challenged." Same thing? Maybe people don't know the definition of retard, but if it hurts your feelings to be called a retard, but not "challenged," then you are the definition of the word retarded.

I'll simply call someone by the region he's from.....I won't refer to someone as an "arab" or "asian", when I can tell if someone's Lebanese, Thai, or something else.......
Insults like "black" "spic" and "asian" are just.........ignorant.
I just think it's more sane to call someone by, well, their roots.....but I will NEVER refer to someone as "african american", since.......that's a pretty broad statement.
