Puhleez! It can't be that bad. If you listened to a country station for a day, I'd bet you anything you'd hear a song that represented what your life was like. They're really good songs out there for country. And if you feel sad, you can match the mood very easily. And if you're really happy, you can still match it easily. Come on, what's wrong with it? lol.

I don't like country because most of the country songs I've heard are way too dull for me. I like a lot or really fast paced music, an country just....isn't. Also, for most of the songs I've heard, country songs tend to just be rhyming shopping lists, or they'll just talk about how their dog died, or how they didn't have enough money to buy the truck they wanted..... Also, I don't know about anyone else, but for me, when I'm sad I don't wanna listen to sad music. It makes me more sad. lol. Instead, I'd rather get angry by listening to some screaming metal song and vent my feelings out on the nearest pillow.......or wall. >.>
Now, obviously not all country is like that, but most is, so in general I just don't like the genre. That doesn't mean that there isn't one country song out there that I might like...

Hmm....I don't like country, cause usually the way they sing the vocals and some other stuff gets on my nerves.
BUT! There is one country band I like, I think. One of my friend, who lives out in the country, loves country music and she told me take a CD home with me and listen to it.
THe band was called "Big and Rich". It's pretty good, and I like 2 songs by them. ^.^

Actually, nothing that's currently being produced could be considered "country"
I'm pretty sure the word "country" is supposed to being to mind images of farmland, of rural life, huge fields of grain..........not beating your wife, watching nascar, and living in a trailer.

There's one song I know of called "Run Fat Boy Run" by a band named Hayseed Timebomb. It's kind of country. Sorta.
