As some of you may know im lucky enough to be taking A level ICT whilst at secondary school. I think i have been doing well, but when i was given my final project i kinda felt like im going to fail This is becuase for the final project i have to make 2 chat based scripts for a website..... i have managed to make one, an MSN type Instant Messanger and the second one is going to be a Forum. The problem is i have to make it from scratch!!!! This is where the help bit comes into play... I am asking for opinions on what the forum should look like, what it should be able to do etc. anyone willing to do graphics or coding is welcome and greatly needed lol. But all i am really asking for is some idea's because that always has been my weak point lol I was thinking of a ProBoards kinda look but then i thought that i should try something new. Anyway any sort of help would be apreciated as i only have 3 weeks!

Hah. I started to do a community project. It gets boring after a while. I could give you a few scripts. What language are you gonna do it in? I can't help with ASP.

All I can help with (besides client-side) is PHP and MySQL. You gonna mix PHP with MySQL and ASP? That'd be quite unique...

No can do in JavaScript. For PHP, it's $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']. Real basic. You could just output it in JavaScript... <script type="text/javascript"> <!--
// all my JS stuff document.write('Haha <?php print($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']); ?>'); // more JS stuff
//--> </script>
