Magus FTW. Harry Tipper looks like a hippie. I've also never heard of him. The choices used for a poll should be those from famous games.

Halo is famous. Timesplitters is famous. And although I've never played it, Chrono Trigger seems pretty popular.

Agreed. Disagree... It's a game based on a movie. Games based on movies are hands-down the worst games ever. Just because everyone in your social 'posse' went to see the movie, doesn't make it famous. It was some crappy movie to which children went. Scooby-Doo, an even more popular TV/movie character, is bound to have a video game made of him. He is still not a video game character. If I liked Shaggy in the Scooby-Doo movie, I cannot nominate him in a video game poll. It's not "popular." It's the greatest game to ever exist. Made GameSpot's "The Greatest Games of All Time" list. It's far more than "popular," mind you.

First I've heard of it, and I've been a Timesplitters fan since the first one.. Care to elaborate to this ignorant fan what film it was based off? Maybe provide some background info to it? *shrugs* Just to back up your claim and all.. To be honest, I've never heard of it as a film... *shrugs* I've never heard of it, so, it can't be that great.. And, I entirely disagree with your "..the greatest game to ever exist" no matter how many people you get to tell me the same thing..

Maybe not, then. I just remember that dumb movie about these kids who found a watch and slowed down time. I thought it was called "Time Splitters." :S
OH! The Almighty One who knows all great games!! I obviously haven't heard of Time Splitters, so it wasn't great either, right?
Duh? Why would you think a game you've never played is the greatest game ever?

Well you see Gamechief, it doesn't matter how many people say Chrono Trigger is one of the greatest games to ever exist, because it is all a matter of opinion.
Timesplitters has never been a film. Ever. Not even a shitty budget film
And this isn't a thread to debate what games are the best, go make your own thread up.
By the way, Character Wars Battle 2 will be up very soon.

A) That's great? I never said Chrono Trigger was the greatest game in everyone's mind. It's the greatest game ever [obviously an opinion; since it came out of my mouth, that makes it mine]. I linked to GameSpot to show how popular it was. B) Before you starting getting on to me about what this thread is about, well... "STFU" because you're the one who started talking about games in general over the characters in them. ;D

Well, I think that their list has some extremely worthy games in it.....
FF Tactics [the ORIGINAL], Fallout, Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate, Star Control II, StarCraft, System Shock II.......
It isn't just a matter of opinion, dude.....these are the greatest games ever created.....well, some of them, anyway.........if you don't agree, then you're the Andy Warhol-fan of gaming.
